Planes are Funny Things

They can slice through steel columns, yet are amazingly vulnerable to small birds.


Those birds must be like kryptonite:
22 February 1999. A Boeing-757 departing Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (KY) had to return and make emergency landing after hitting large flock of starlings. Both engines and 1 wing received extensive damage. About 400 dead starlings were found on runway area.

From fucking feathers & hollow bones no less!!

BUT!! The same material punctured by BIRDS that made up these airliner wings, material that couldn't even withstand a fucking BIRD IMPACT FOR GOD'S SAKE!!, somehow MAGICALLY managed to slice through the dozens of thick construction-grade steel columns of my Twin Towers!??? Suuuure...they did
