Do Muggers/Murderers Usually Burn/Blow Up Their Get-Away Car?

It seems a little extreme to me.

I suppose burning the car fits with some punks trying to cover their tracks (destroying their fingerprints?) after they committed an unpremeditated murder.

But it still seems kind of odd. I have never heard of anyone trying to destroy their get-away car like this before.

Of course, the case of Michael Zebuhr's killing never made a lot of sense anyway.
