Our Soldiers Died for This?

The new Iraq is more horrifying than the old Iraq.

Are Bush, Cheney, Rice and Rumsfeld even aware of what they have done?

Yes and they are also aware of the nice big salary they are going to get from an oil company say maybe Haliburton to sit on their board as a reward for their actions.

Only Colin Powell had any sort of morals and he was very sceptical about all the intelligence which led to the war in Iraq.

Wait a minute....I though the media was just a Bush Lapdog - even possibly part of the 9/11 hoax from day one.

Why should we believe this?

or are you selective with your media - specifically in this case the Wash Post - condemnations? Only things you approve of is "good media"? or is it a "They're ALL bad - except the things that agree with me!" approach?

The key is to read a variety of news sources so that you can form your own judgements from the inforamtion infron of you. in the UK we are lucky as the BBC can usually be relied upon to be less biased than most media outlets.

its better than fox news, but there are problems with it, especially since the Hutton report limited the scope of its journalism.

There is a good blog on the Biased BBC

what C2O said--- plus, it's not that the mainstream media LIES (most of the time), it's what they emphasize, and the ridiculous storylines they create.

Reality tends to catch up, though, which is why Bush is in the low 30's and why most people think Iraq was a mistake and why even large percentages of people think there was a 9/11 cover-up (and this latter is in the ABSENCE of any mainstream media attention!!!).
