add up all the money that U.S. has "loaned" israel over the years(never has to pay any back!).

yes, the U.S. should be building schools instead of bombs but there is just no profit to be made in raising the quality of life and promoting good will.

it will be a great day when the schools have all the money they need and the air force has to hold a bake sale to buy bombers.

Now I could always be wrong here, and the surface of things here could be as deep as it gets. Or...

Initial reading of the Kristof piece left the odor of the CIA/NSA in my nose about this guy, Greg Mortenson.

His own website says “He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Cold War (1977-1979).” Army Intel? Note he joined the Army, after the draft was voided. Interesting that Kristof’s piece says that Mortenson failed to climb K2, while Mortenson’s bio, at his website, says he climbed it. (The legend begins?) I love how his site says he “endured CIA investigations.” That kind of statement is pure legend, to those of us who know how this works. It may even be code that he is CIA. Then, not once, but TWICE his own bio says “Tom Brokaw calls Mortenson ““one ordinary person, with the right combination of character and determination, who is really changing the world.”” But my favorite, at his site, is when “North Vietnam’s own” Senator John McCain gave Mortenson the 2005 Men's Journal 'Anti-Terror' Award!

And we should never forget who is pushing this guy here: The NY Times, and Nicholas Kristof. Wiki says Kristof was “a Rhodes Scholar at Magdalen College, Oxford.” Are you getting it? Heard of the MI5/MI6, after all my writings?

Kristof was an attack dog for the FBI against planned patsy Steven Hatfill, M.D. Hatfill, you recall, was framed by the American Gestapo Regime for the Anthrax scare, when it was obviously [to me] an intel op, all along, with the help of the media such as the NY Times and Kristof. Hatfill sued the NY Times and Kristof. (Kristof was dropped from the suit due to lack of personal jurisdiction of the Court over Kristof.)

Kristof’s wife, Sheryl WuDunn, won the Pulitzer Prize with Kristof for journalism regarding Tiananmen Square--which some say greatly under-reported the many thousands of Chinese who were massacred by that regime. Does WuDunn go on to greater things in Journalism? No, wiki says, she became a “private wealth advisor with Goldman Sachs…[and] was recently hired by Goldman Sachs to tout securities for them to wealthy clients.” Hint: Many people do not know how many Americans “become” wealthy from inside information passed to them from the NSA or CIA. Sometimes companies are created, bought and sold solely to create great wealth for all these perps. They obviously want to keep it all in the family.
