Why is a U.S. Army brigade being assigned to the "Homeland"?
Oh, not to worry! They just want to HELP people! Nothing sinister at all about the deployment of an active combat Brigade to the US!
My take: I doubt that martial law is imminent, but it sure looks like the US military is getting troops trained for/accustomed to that eventuality.

the young soldiers of today's U.S. military have been conditioned to shoot first - will they hesitate to shoot @ american citizens?
i doubt it.
i am prepared to defend myself (dying is preferable to submission) but most people will not be not prepared.
