Smithfield Foods and Swine Flu

Disgustingly massive hog farms operated by Smithfield Foods seem to be a likely source for swine-derived influenza.

And this article should put you off of eating pork.

By the way, newer information is suggesting that this current swine flu is actually relatively mild-- meaning there has been mostly far too much hype about a flu pandemic than any real threat. As far as the deaths in Mexico, keep in mind that:
1) "normal flu" kills thousands every year in the US
2) this could be a normal flu outbreak for Mexico
3) the horrible pollution in Mexico may have aggravated normal flu, causing more deaths

Check the background of a death from flu, hot weather, etc. Often are weak from something, not fit.
