Army Psychologists Broke Soldier Before He Went on Shooting Rampage

This is fishy as hell:
BAGHDAD, May 12 -- The U.S. military said Tuesday that it is launching a probe to identify shortcomings in mental health treatment for troops deployed in war zones, after a soldier allegedly killed five fellow service members at a base clinic in Baghdad on Monday.
(snip)
Russell's father, Wilburn Russell, 73, told the Associated Press on Tuesday that counselors at the clinic "broke" his son, by putting him through stressful mental tests but not clarifying that they were merely tests. The elder Russell said his son had e-mailed his wife sometime before the shooting and told her he had had two of the worst days in his life. He told her that "his life was over as far as he was concerned," the father said. Wilburn Russell said his son was not a violent man.

This is why the Pentagon is replacing soldiers and pilots with Terminator robots.

SPOOKED:

Do you know how to search the 9/11 forum for the most efficient way
to find a particular post?

I remember reading a post by w.seger
in which you and he were FL 93, I believe. It could have been about
Shanksville and the "crash site".

I recall something about angles of
the alleged FL93 and how they would have affected the creation of the "crash site".

In that discussion, seger said in one of his posts that he is a pilot.

That really jumped out at me and made me think, momentarily, that maybe I should take him a little more seriously if he's a pilot.

I've tried to use the search function to find his post, but either I don't know how to use the function correctly or else the search function is poorly designed.

You can type in words + e.g. 2003, and you STILL get posts even from
2009.

BTW- if you've been at DU today,
notice that seger says the only kind of pilot he said he was is a MS FSim. pilot.

He never said that before and I think it's an attempt to pre-handle
the issue in the event that someone finds the post where he said he is a pilot.

I would not be surprised if he or a friendly moderator has scrubbed
the post in question, but I'm 100%
certain that he made the claim.

At the time, since he didn't qualify the claim, and since the topic included ONLY a discussion involving large airliners, anyone who read his claim would have automatically assumed that he was talking about being a pilot of large planes.

He did NOT say whether he meant that he was a commercial pilot or a military pilot. There is NO rational reason to assume he meant
anything other than that he was claiming to be a pilot of commercial airliners.

The above is a true recollection and anyone who knows me personally
would agree that even if my other
faculties aren't Harvard-level, I do have a well-above-average memory and would not make a claim that I have no basis for making, especially if it involves an important detail such as the subject of this comment.

Seger is a liar and despite his effort to "crawdad" (MS F SIM.),
deception is the essence of lying,
and Seger is guilty.

I know that seger's claim that he is a pilot was made very early in his
DU career. The reason I'm sure of that is the fact that at the time I read it, I wasn't certain that he?
is a disinfo agent (professional or amateur). That's one reason why
whenever he made the claim I assumed that maybe he knew what he was talking about and therefore his
comments deserved my taking them
seriously.

I think it must have been maybe in
2003. I believe you might have been fairly new at DU yourself.

It was a long time ago, but I've never forgotten that particular lie of his.

I don't remember Seger saying that. I joined DU in 2004 and don't remember interacting with him until 2007 or so.

You need to be a donor to search the archives.

The funny thing along these lines was LARED recently claiming he was a mechanical engineer, when I thought he had long claimed to be a chemical engineer. But now the archives have old posts with him saying he was a mechanical engineer. I have to wonder if the archives were altered...

No wonder I had so much trouble trying to search their archives.

Well then, it had to have been in
2004. I don't believe it was any later than that.

It was in a thread which you started and I'm pretty sure (almost certain)
that it was a thread about the alleged crash site at Shanksville.

He said it as a way of implying that because he is a pilot, he knows more about how a plane would land if it crashed as FL 93 supposedly did.

Don't you recall discussions about
whether it landed upside down?

You were trying to establish how it could be that the impact indentation came to resemble what is shown in photos of the site.

If my memory is correct, I believe
your position was that the impact
zone was impossible, given the
angle at which it would have had if it had been coming from a particular direction.

I'm positive he said in one of his comments "I'm a pilot...".
No doubt whatsoever in my mind that he used those exact words.

I think it was revealing (the other day) that he at first tried to brush it off by saying "what difference does it make", "what does being a pilot have to do with anything" etc.

The key comment he made was the one in which he said that he never claimed to be any kind of pilot other than a Microsoft Flight Simulator pilot.

Actually, I don't believe he has EVER said that he's a F.Sim. pilot.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if
Lared's post has been scrubbed, modified, or disappeared. The moderators there aren't evenhanded and I wouldn't put anything past them.

But those two (seger & lared) aren't the only two liars in their group.

The next one to be "outed" might well be one who has been there forever and who has a well-deserved reputation as a first-class SOB who is thoroughly
unscrupulous and shockingly deceitful.

Stay tuned. I've heard from more than one DUer about some folks there - and it's high time
that "they" are exposed - just as it's important that the OCT be exposed as a lie.

I don't remember Seger making that claim, but I could have missed it. No doubt he is a dishonest ass, as I showed in that crater argument.
