NPR = National Propaganda Radio

Good example here.

NPR represents the interests of

the ruling class. So does the NYT.

The difference? Take the new

immigration reform legislation in

Arizona.

The NYT opposes it on the grounds

that it has police state

implications. Can't have THAT.

All those people on the upper E.

side need cheap labor (maids etc.)

just as much as restaurants need

dishwashers/busboys.

NPR opposes the bill on the

grounds that it's racist.

If NPR & the NYT oppose a law,

it's because that law doesn't

serve the interests of wealth

and power.

I agree with that completely.

But why is your comment double spaced like that? It's weird!

Here's an example of another rich

person who says she's concerned

about the Ariz. Immigration Bill.

Lots of Hispanics have made
Bud Wiser by consuming it, and
when you have a lot of real estate
you need plenty of domestic help--
the cheaper the better.

And when you own, operate, or are
merely invested in low-end apartments and own other rental property, you don't want to lose
your present tenants NOR the
daily influx of potential NEW
tenants.

Used car dealers can't be happy.
And neither can Wal-mart AND its
suppliers. Diaper salesmen are
probably even more upset than the
purveyors of ninety proof nerve
tonic or Corona, JOOSE etc.

Starting to get the picture now,
SPOOKED?

Arizonians who AREN'T wealthy are

more likely to SUPPORT the new law.

If you stop and THINK about it, it's

easy to understand why.

Truth is, the bill is a ploy to

pander to the GOP's right wing base

in ALL states.

It almost smacks of a backroom

deal by BOTH (major) parties.

It will either be tossed or

reduced to mush, but BOTH parties

still gain, in any event.

Let not your heart be troubled.

The leaders of both parties are

actually more responsible people

than the public gives them credit

for.
