Targeting Americans, and With Little Controversy

Where's the outrage over the Obama Administration's secret assassination attempts on U.S. citizens?

Where's the outrage over the massive number of injustices perpetrated on the US people and the people of the world? 9/11, etc... either your head is in the sand, or you're desensitized to these outrages... a few people may wake up at a time and be truly outraged, but in general what human being can be outraged over all the shit that has gone on and continues to go on?

Which brings to mind the expression "BOHICA"--
... an acronym that stands for "Bend Over, Here It Comes Again". It is used colloquially to indicate that an adverse situation is about to repeat itself, and that acquiescence is the wisest course of action. It is commonly understood as a reference to being sodomized. An alternative etymology relates the expression to the days of sail and avoiding being struck by the boom, which would swing around the mast due to shifts in wind or the vessel's course. The term grew to regular use amongst the United States armed forces during the Vietnam War. Although it originated in the US Military forces, its usage has spread to civilian environments and used to describe unavoidable, unpleasant situations that have inconvenienced one before, and are about to yet again.

What you need to remember is that there is a minimum body count and quota of countries you have to invade in order to be nominated for a Nobel Peace prize - and you can't count any country that you've already "helped towards becoming a democracy" from previous nominations.

Nominees are also required to demonstrate a long term commitment to the original reason Nobel could fund awards..... dynamite!

Therefore, invading countries is just not enough and nominees need to have evidence of sustained use of live munitions which is to be proven by photographic body count statistics. Additional points are also scored through continuous innovation and quality improvement: hence smart munitions, drones and stealth craft.

Obama would have had a second peace prize in his grasp through the humanitarian murder of Osama and some niggardly Libyans but, would you believe it, they inadvertently dropped the photos overboard during the traditional Muslim burial at sea.

What a shame because that means the humanitarian Dick Cheney is back in the running for the peace prize through his popular use of humanitarian torture and, in particular, waterboarding. If only he had more pictures!
