Doug Dietrich on Alternate World History

I'd never heard of this guy before I heard him on Fetzer's show, and I thought the first 90 minutes or so were completely fascinating. The guy is extremely impressive in his breadth of knowledge and articulateness and just rapid-fire delivery. That being said, his schtick got a bit old towards the end and I watched a couple of YouTube videos of him that were not so great. But his whole view of the American empire in the 20th century is quite fascinating and I know at least some of what he was saying was correct.

Dietrich's view that Japan won WWII and was still a huge super-power, reminded me a bit of this piece on Japan's banking and economic system. Fascinating but confusing.

hmm. maybe japan's banking was separate from the zionist IMF system and oops! fukushima "accident" as a result.
iraq, libya, syria & iran also had/have strong national bank systems separate from the zion IMF.
2 out of 4 so far. or 3 out of 5 maybe.

He makes many simply astounding claims but never fleshes them out except with cursory, brief comments, so it's difficult to really assess
much of what he talks about.

I suspect the context of most of his claims would call into question the ultimate truth of them.

I have heard of some of the claims before, such as Michael Aquino, the Luciferian chaplain in the US military, and so forth. The US certainly committed horrible atrocities in the Philippines. I liked the part in the beginning where he said the US was not going to last because it was too far into believing its own propaganda.

The guy's a very, very smart huckster, a for-profit disinformationalist who mixes some shocking, always-favorable-to-the-Asians, horrible true facts about U.S. history with even more always-favorable-to-the Asians, wild and impossible-to-verify fantasies.

And we're supposed to believe they're all based on scads and piles of ultra-secret documents that a teenage file clerk was blithely able to memorize and/or photocopy before shredding and incinerating them. Uh-huh...

(Somebody should check out the dude's real bio.)

"Buy my books! Buy my DVDs (limited-time-only specials, of course)-- then and book me (for generous speaking fees) at every crank/UFO-contactee/survivalist/new-age/health-food/militia-gunshow/hollow-earth convention my agents can fit into my busy schedule!"...or something like that. (Check out his website.)

And Fetzer just let him run on and on with his Asians-Uber-Alles delirium, never challenging him as to the moral rectitude of Japanese imperialism justifying its own ghastly invasions and mass murders of its own neighbors -- and then allying with the Nazis!

As much as I enjoy Fetzer's program and respect his own research, this interview marked a new low of seeming gullibility for Fetzer and was eerily reminiscent of his previous pandering to the "everyone's a pedophile except me" ravings of fanatic anti-monarchist Greg Hallet.

Andy--

yeah, I agree. Fetzer is always just a bit too gullible, not sure what his deal is. And Dietrich really rubbed the wrong way when he started trying to sell his merchandise, and even used the death of his mother, supposedly at the hands of the Feds, to sell DVDs.
